Our Rawhide is some of the finest of its kind. They have few blemishes and marks. We do not send hides that have holes near the middle and hand inspect each piece before it goes out. Rawhide can be wet, soaked, stretched and worked before re-drying. A great option for drums, furniture, lacing and more.
Deer - 2 Drum; Typical yield will be 2x 23″ drum rounds for 15″ drum frames.
- At times the deer rawhide will be bleached, if the natural is unavailable.
- Deer hides are typically around 0.5-0.8mm thickness
Elk - 3 Drum; Typical yield will be 3x 24" rounds, for 16" drum frames.
Elk - 4 Drum; Typical yield will be 4x 23" Rounds for 16" drum frames.
